Promotions

As Sales Promotion Manager for Fawcett Books (1978-1981), Kurt Aldag created innovative trade marketing communications programs and point-of-sale campaigns that sold literally millions of copies of paperbacks. He launched telemarketing and supermarket programs as well as new book imprints, and participated in industry research on consumer buying habits and industry marketing techniques. His innovations were credited wth  boosting sales in supermarkets as well as smaller independents. He also created unique point-of-sale campaigns that launched unknown authors into instant bestseller status and increased backlist sales.
